Full course description

Summary
This 8-week course is part of the Truett Seminary Certificate Program, and is suitable for laypeople, church leaders, and ministers of all types, including church pastors.

This course is intended to teach the essential aspects of providing care for people in times of crisis. It is also highly recommended for all Certificate Students pursuing a Certificate of Ministry.

 

Prerequisites
For Certificate Students, it is recommended to first finish all six of the core courses in the Certificate Program. 

It is required that Certificate Students take at least the following:

    CMP01 - Biblical Interpretation
    CMP04 - Introduction to Theology

 

For all other participants, it is highly beneficial to have a prior formal theological education (contact our office for clarity).

Difficulty
Within the Certificate Program, this course is challenging due to depth and subject matter.
